Feedback Sought: Should Retail Skills Sets be added to the Funded Lower Fees, Local Skills initiative?

7/5/2022

The LDSC is seeking feedback from industry and training providers on the establishment of the below skills sets for their inclusion on the lower fees, local skills initiative (offered by the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD)):
  • SIRSS00024 Customer Engagement
  • SIRSS00024 Retail Customer Relationship
  • SIRSS00035 Retail Leadership Transition Skill Set
  • SIRSS00020- Manage and implement social media and online customer engagement.
  • SIRSS00021- Develop an online presence for customer engagement
Our response to the DTWD must be backed by Industry evidence. In particular we are looking to hear from employers who may utilise this training, and from training providers who have, or who are willing to put theses skill sets on scope for delivery in WA.

Please contact Ian via Ian@ldsc.asn.au or (08) 9388 8781, or click here to sign the online petition recommending the funding. Feedback closes soon.
