We were delighted to see an incredible turnout of RTOs representing our diverse industry coverage areas on Friday 3 December 2021 at the LDSC annual RTO Forum. With at least representative from each industry sector: Maritime, Retail, Aviation, Road Transport, Rail, Warehousing and Logistics. A thank you to all our presenters who provided an update on their respective areas with insight into what is occurring for their organisations next year:

On behalf of the Transport and Logistics IRC, Australian Industry Standards (AIS) is holding a webinar about emerging trends for your industry, cross-sector issues, and proposed qualification changes to support workforce needs.
Register here to join the Transport and Logistics webinar on 29 March 2021. Hear from the Industry Reference Committee about current industry challenges and its role in addressing skills needs, and the AIS Skills Specialist about proposed qualification changes. AIS is keen to hear your ideas and feedback to ensure qualifications and skills standards deliver real outcomes for industry. Be a part of AIS’ Industry Skills 360 Series of webinars by visiting the AIS Engagement Hub and see how you can provide feedback. All the reporting was finalised earlier this month between the LDSC, the Department of Training and Workforce Development and the State Training Board (STB). The TLI40218 Certificate IV in Mobile Crane Operations qualification is currently under consideration by the STB Establishment and Variation of Apprenticeships Committee (EVAC), prior to submission to the Minister for Training and Workforce Development for endorsement.
