With the development of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft rapidly moving ahead, we are preparing for the new, futuristic transport terminals where they will take-off and land: vertiports.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority have prepared draft guidance material, also known as an advisory circular, which sets out the design guidelines for future vertiports and are seeking feedback. CASA have opened a public consultation to anyone active in the AAM, uncrewed, or crewed aviation industry to gain your feedback.
To learn more about vertiports before providing feedback, CASA is hosting a series of free webinars:
The paper also seeks feedback on the design of future initiatives to support women to achieve higher paying careers via vocational education and training pathways. The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DWR) are also seeking experiences about what is most effective in attracting and retaining women in occupations that have historically had low female participation. To inform the design and implementation of the Guarantee, stakeholders are invited to read the Australian Skills Guarantee Discussion Paper and make a submission.

WA's Rail Access Regime provides a regulated pathway for parties to gain access to pre-determined privately-owned railways. Following extensive consultation and a review of the Regime, the State Government is implementing significant changes to ensure a more effective alternative when commercial negotiations stall, speed up access negotiations and ensure railway access arrangements are fair for all parties.
Feedback is being sought on the draft amendments via https://www.wa.gov.au/railaccessregime, and closes 23 July 2022. You can also email email@example.com to submit your feedback.
