The Skills Reform engagement hub has recently published two articles to highlight feedback gained through engagement activities with VET stakeholders.
The National Student Outcomes Survey for 2021 begins this week, with close to one million students being contacted about their satisfaction with training, employment, and further study outcomes. Former students will begin receiving their survey invitations in early June. Survey results will be available at www.ncver.edu.au from late 2021.

Tradespeople are critical to shipbuilding – they do everything from constructing the vessels through to manufacturing and installing the electrical and piping components that go inside. The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is seeking submissions from entities to deliver Employment Facilitator and Support Services for the Local Jobs Program 2021-2025 in 26 regions, nationally. Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA), Container Transport Alliance Australia (CTAA), and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA), have partnered with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) to create the Safe Container Loading Practices & Heavy Vehicle Safety campaign, funded by the Federal government. The campaign provides a FREE online Safe Container Loading Practices & Heavy Vehicle Safety course, complimented by a FREE webinar series with presentations from experts in their field.

The State Government has launched a free online platform to connect Job Ready workers with the growing list of job opportunities available with Western Australian employers. Job Ready Connect is exclusively available to Job Ready program graduates and participating WA employers. By registering on Job Ready Connect, employers can easily and securely search for and connect with candidates who have the skills and experience they require.
