Training Minister Simone McGurk has announced the 45 finalists for the WA Training Awards 2023. These annual awards recognize exceptional achievements in the vocational education and training sector, highlighting the best apprentices, trainees, employers, and training organizations in the state. The awards cover 13 categories, with 31 finalists competing for eight individual awards and 14 finalists contending for five organization categories. The winners of the individual awards will receive $3,000 to further their training or kick-start their careers, while the organization winners will be recognized as industry leaders.
Through its engagement with the WA Training Awards as a judge, the LDSC was impressed with the quality of all the finalists this year and wishes them all the best of luck.
The winners will be announced in September and may go on to represent WA at the Australian Training Awards in Hobart in November.
