Take a tour of Cooperative Bulk Handling Albany Facility and see where our grain goes
CBH is a Western Australian Co-operative that is owned by WA grain growing businesses. CBH's core business includes storage and handling, marketing, trading, and fertilizer.
When in operation, CBH has a network of more than 100-grain receival sites across WA and four export port terminals, with a rail fleet dedicated to the transfer of grain to the port terminals.
This half day (9.30 - 12) tour will take students through a working receival centre, speaking to staff about the science and technology behind the transfer and exportation of WA grains and the multiple career paths that are on offer.
