Have your say! Review of the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO)
The Australian Bureau of Statistics is updating ANZSCO and invites submission on the way skills are reflected and how ANZSCO is maintained. The ANZSCO is used by governments and organisations in activities such as matching job seekers with job vacancies, shaping educational pathways, skilled migration programs and workforce strategies that equip Australians with skills to get jobs and stay employed. The ANZSCO still largely reflects the original 2006 version which was based on the 2001 Australian and New Zealand labour markets.
Click here to view the current ANZSCO codes and occupations on the ABS website. Visit the ABS Consultation Hub to provide your feedback (the ABS has 2 online questionnaires for stakeholders, along with further documents providing more detail on proposed strategies). Feedback closes Tuesday 26 July 2022.
