On behalf of the Rail Industry Reference Committee, the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Rail Track Protection project has drafted materials for the Transport and Logistics Training Package and would like your feedback. A new Unit of Competency has been developed to ensure rail track workers have the required skills and knowledge to effectively use automatic track warning systems in order to increase safety and productivity of the industry.
The TAC also reviewed and updated two qualifications, nine Skill Sets and associated Units of Competency. Click here to view draft materials and submit your feedback by close of business Wednesday 27 January 2021. As always, if providing feedback please send a copy of your comments to the LDSC via info@ldsc.asn.au so we can ensure feedback from WA Stakeholders is taken into account in the consultation process.
