A new research paper from the UK aims to evaluate the benefits of micro-credentials amid the growing uptake of the learning format during the COVID-19 crisis. ‘Micro-credentials: The new frontier of adult education and training’ by James Robson, Deputy Director of Centre for Skills, Knowledge and Organisational Performance at Oxford University, says research suggests that those who take micro-credential courses have variable returns in the labour market.
